Good location, clean and tidy
Unwelcoming. Too many authoratitive notices.
Overall: The hotel is clean and tidy. However, it is not at all welcoming. The hotel room is filled with signs like takeaway food must not be eaten, breakfast must be taken at the time stated and will not be prepared before or kept afterwards, damage to the carpet and covers will be charged to your credit card. The fact that you need to specify the day before an exact time (and even the exact food you want) for breakfast the next day, and that you have to pay a 10 pound deposit just to get the remote control for the TV in the room, along with the restrictions and authoratitive tone of notices around the hotel mean that I would not wish to stay again. Better than ordinary B+B's. The kithchen was excellent, lots of space and nice and quiet even though above a bar.
No remote control for TV. I like teletext and Ceefax in a hotel room.
