The bed was large & comfy and, for central London, the room was nice & quiet.

Expensive coffee; awful lumpy rubbery pillows; muddled check-in; very narrow bathroom.

Nice room, excellent breakfast, freindly helpful staff

Long winded booking in process, strange way to get to rooms from recpetion and lift was so slow

Overall: Nice hotel to stay, would go back  (107899739)

Overall: Excellent stay, hotel in great position in central London Only criticism, it would have been cheaper to reserve through the hotels own website!  (107570689)

A room upgrade, Excellent inclusive WiFi, Good A/C, Good food; excellent staff, in reception and in the restaurant. Good security, very well equipped room.

The single lift was tedious to wait for. Double Glazing glass was missing from my window and, as a result, the room was noisy.

Overall: Very good value and a good location, though I dread to think how small the room I had originally booked was - I got an upgrade to a double - and it was still a squash!!  (107361729)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
