The building was beautiful, loved the stained glass and fire places
We stayed over night as we were at a Ball held in the hotel. The meal we had for the ball was poor, small portions and some of it was cold
Overall: Would like to see food for evening meal improved to the standard of the lovely breakfast, sausages were very tasty

The view from the window, the large room, well-appointed bathroom, large comfortable bed. Unlike most hotel bedrooms, the lighting was good.
Overall: We had a great time. This is a family run hotel - customer service is great and everyone working there was friendly and efficient. The chef is a star - wonderful breakfasts and dinners. He even asked us what we would like to eat on our last evening. We would go there again tomorrow. Thanks to everyone there.

(Family with young children)
I was most impressed that the hotel knew I would be arriving with my 2 small children, which I said 1 bed for all would be fine, when I arrived my room had had a single bed made up and I had also been given a large room which I thought was very personnal and kind. Also it makes a change not to have to ask for things...so many thanks.
Nothing, everything was excellant
Overall: Overall I was very impressed with the hotel, nothing was to much trouble, the staff were kind and friendly especially to my small children aged 5 and 6 years old.
The hotel was also very clean and tidy, which I always notice when away with my children.
