Very pleasant welcome from the reception. Warm atmosphere in lobby.

Double room very small. Hotel a little on the old side, carpet grubby, paint on walls grubby. Had breakfast the following morning. Staff seemed inexperienced. Ran out of coffee and orange juice!

Overall: For the cost of the hotel, I felt breakfast should have been included. Very central and very pleasant staff.  (108659914)

Easy check in, pleasent staff, central location.

No bottled water provided in the room, the tap water had such a bad taste it was un-drinkable. This annoyed me as I arrived very late and did not want to go shopping.

Overall: Cannot fault the value and cleandliness of the hotel but water put me off I would take bottled water with me if I stopped again.  (108679680)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
