Food was excellent , staff helpful and efficient, grounds and view beautiful, peaceful, close to main area, good parking.

Lovely old style Hotel, Nice gardens.

No ensuite in rooms

Friendly helpful owners and very attentive staff.

Shared bathroom - which didn't turn out to be a problem - but prefer en-suire facilities. I think other rooms have en-suite but we were a late booking and got last room

Overall: Excellent. Position beautiful. Walking distance of town and theatre. Great breakfast. Very welcoming and trusting environment. Lots of local information from hosts. Would strongly reccomend.  (107850660)

Excellent breakfast. Really friendly owners. Honesty Bar.

Overall: I had booked a twin room for me and my elderly mother. Unfortunately due to a mix up we were given a double bed. The bike race was on this weekend so owners were unable to give us an alternative room. This said, the bed arrangement was fine and the owners were very apologetic knocking £9 off the total bill (much appreciated when on the grand scheme of things it was not a big deal)  (107930418)

Very helpful with downstairs room for my disabled husband. Room was spotless with nice white crisp bed linen.

Overall: We stayed for two nights for our wedding anniversary.We were made welcome and there was a good choice of breakfast dishes.  (107562993)
