Excellent location with and delightful premises, lovely food, excellent bed and excellent Spa facilities.

We stayed in "Rose " room and there was a connecting door with the next room. The door was thin with no sound proofing and TV +conversation was easily overheard.This was a little disconcerting. We were most suprised at such a failing and mentioned this to the manager who took polite interest.The bathroom door was ill- fitting and jamming

A lovely hotel in an idylic setting. All the staff were friendly and efficient whilst not being too formal. Room was lovely. Overall a great place to stay.

Only one and not really a bad point just a suggestion. We were only offered one table d'hote three course menu. Perhaps an a la carte menu would be a good idea for those that do not want three courses.

Great location, with nice grounds and a very good swimming pool.

No tea & coffee in the room. We were not aware before arrival that there is a formal dress code in the restaurant.

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
