Nice location, plenty of parking, friendly and helpful check in staff
The room (an "executive" one)was rather shabby and needing updating
The food and wine although very nice was excessively expensive.
Service at breakfast on one morning was way below standard
Overall: An ideal base for touring Snowdonia, but given the cost, very disappointing (107328425)

Room in need of maintenance i.e. toilet seat and window curtain retainer. Decor a little tired

Room cleaned to good standard
Bed very comfortable - quality furnishings
Grounds beautiful and relaxing
Food not of good standard considering price - would expect more of it/to be hot and e.g the bread we had for sandwiches etc was thin and dry - the finishing touches were not there. Dissappointment at lack of local produce and/or organic food. We are restauranteurs and expect a reasonable quality and standard for that pricing. The service was also rushed For breakfast no plain yoghurt/no meusli/ no bananas when asked. Again food not hot.
Could not open the patio doors to our room - dangerous if there were a fire.
Dress code of hotel not observed for mealtimes - people not appropriately dressed.
Some staff not as helpful as others.
Overall: A pleasant place to be but because of the high mark up on drinks and the standard of food we were disappointed. (107448944)
