Polite and friendly service with that extra bit of effort. Warm friendly environment, great Gym and pool. Savingg the best for last, the building and grounds are gorgeous.

Beautiful location and buildings, well maintained. Well equipped rooms, comfortably furnished and in excellent state of cleanliness. I did not stay for dinner, but breakfast was excellent.

Overall: Very enjoyable experience in lovely rural location. An excellent country house hotel experience.  (107112035)

Relaxing, friendly and efficient service, good food and drink.

Overall: From the moment we arrived, stressed and tired, the hotel began to work its calming magic. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff, who were polite, friendly and efficient. The setting is glorious and, complemented by unseasonably glorious weather, we enjoyed a relaxing and pampered break with walks, swimming, gymnasium use and fine food and drink - even if slightly too much of these latter two. We left refreshed, cheered and content. would that I could say this of all hotel stays.  (99465894)

We found the room to be very spacious and clean

Overall: Our only regret is that we did not spend longer at the hotel to enjoy the beautiful gardens and walks available this was due to us not having the time but will make sure that we have more time when we visit again.  (99681294)
