The hotel had no knowledge of our reservation when we arrived, room looked nothing like the picture, food in restaurant was pretty poor, walls in hotel wafer thin so you could hear everything around you from all other rooms, the radiator in our room was noisy unless you turned the heat off so then our room was freezing cold, service on reception and in dining room was poor - the receptionist was playing poker on Facebook in the morning when we came down, and did not come off it to direct us towards breakfast, I didn't have a cup when we were served tea at breakfast and the breakfast was pretty small and measly once we were finally served.

We enjoyed a nice bar meal in the evening and Breakfast was good and service good.
We were aware that it was an old Hotel, but something needs to be done about the creaking floor boards. Our room was creaking on every step we made and outside our bedroom door to the landing door every person that went through had to step on creaking floor boards until the early hours of the morning. We did not complain as we were only staying the one night.

The outside facade of the hotel is very attractive. The inside, Breakfast room and restaurant are favourable, the staff friendly.
The rooms were poor. At this time of the year far too cold. The central heating didn't work and could not be started not even by the hotel staff. In one room there was a considerable hole in the window and we got a 50% price reductionm. No bed in all three rooms had blankets between the sheets and we had to ask for blankets. All in all nothing had been prepared for the guests.
Overall: In the summer I might stay there again, but in autumn and winter never ever again. (108376569)

room extreemley hot. Had to run the fan provided all night as window would not open. The water from the bathroom tasted horrible, could provide a bottle of water!
