Freindly staff-cleanliness in general
Bacon at breakfast had been over-cooked and kept warm too long.We had to walk through the dining room to our room-understand the difficulty because of the age of the building but still rather disturbing when going to the Spa and guests are eating.

We loved the tennis court and gardens and the pool.
It wasnt a double bed, rather 2 twin beds pushed together.
The checkout time given online was 7 am! No one answered the phone to confirm or deny this. After booking found out it was 11am, thew!

Excellent food - albeit expensive. Decent sized pool and jacuzzi.
No tea & coffee in the room and it took 45 mins to get one. Sky channels on the TV didn't work. Auto billing of 5% tip for each days stay was a bit presumptuous!
