I found room 110 which was allocated to me was too small for my wife and I. There was no place to place our one luggage bag let alone the two bags that we have with us. YOur staff must be train to look at what kind of luggage bags the check-in guest have with them and allocate the room accordingly.To make matters worst the room does not even have a view. It looked out to the roof of the adjoining building. My wife and I was certainly not happy with the room that we checked into another hotel - The Kenilworth Hotel for another 7 nights of stay here in your beautiful town. We will be back again next year and we definitely will book Kenilworth Hotel as the room rate was not only much lower but the manager upgrated us to a super deluxe room for the price of a standard room. This is what I would call good customer service and good marketin unlike the response I got from your reception when I told her that I am dismayed at the room she had allocated to me. You know what she told me??? We do have a bigger room and we can have your room changed for a higher rate. What a service and what "marketing"??? Certainly not meeting customer needs???.

When we checked in after booking our room on-line the man in reception told us he would be charging us £62 for one night. We had booked for two nights each costing £49. He had to get assistance to sort this and I was glad I had the confirmation to prove what we had booked. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and sorted the problem.
Overall: We were happy with our stay but would not want to pay more than £49 for a room. (107816075)
modern, clean hotel. Reasonably priced in centre of town. Rooms more stylish and better equipt than most.
Poor ground floor layout and very bright lighting meant that having a drink in the hotel bar was not desirable.

Good hotel and high standard
My accounting instructions for all rooms to be charged to our company account were not followed therefore delegates were charged individually for payment. This caused embarrassment for one of my delegates but the hotel didn?t inform me until lunchtime.
I rang on several occasions to ask for the charges to be refunded and charged to my card details but by the time I was contacted it was 3 days after their stay.
We use the Holiday Inn Maidenhead a great deal for company events but I feel very let down by the poor customer service we received at Kenilworth.
Overall: The booking and accommodation were of a good standard and but departure process failed. (107177580)

only one lift working and no hot water one morning .one of our rooms did not have tea coffee biscuits repleanished
