Having stayed before at the hotel we found a vast improvement in service all round. The food was very good and the staff very pleasant and efficient. We would definately return.

would have liked a shower cap for use in the bathroom .

Central location, building of character, efficient friendly service, reasonable price, good quality rooms with good facilities and good standard of decor, car park and within walking distance of train station.

Hot tap on bath difficult to turn off. Shower curtain no longer at its best. Badly written information about the hotel in the directory in the room. Easy chairs in bar very low and so difficult to get out of, particularly for elderly. Breakfast started too late on a Saturday morning for me to be able to have any! BUT all these are minor points and should not be taken as strong criticism.

We were put in a bedroom that was over a function room. The night we stayed there was a party that went on to 1am in the morning. It was very inconsiderate of The White Horse to put us over a room in which a function was going on and we were not attending. There were plenty of other rooms in which they could have put us or they should have saved the rooms for the people who were attending the function!!! We complained but all that was said was "Sorry". This did not help us at all as we had a long car journey back up to Telford where we live, so were already tired.

The rooms was spotlessly clean, very tastfully decorated, staff very friendly always had a friendly smile for you if asked for anything they did it straight away

Only perculated coffee, no mugs

Overall: Lovely hotel, really enjoyed our stay which was excellent  (108338829)

Beautiful old fashioned hote, rich in oak beams and wood panelling

Room was a little hot overnight

Overall: Very pleased with the White Horse Dorking. Right on the high street near shops and pubs. Friendly welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast. Lovely room.  (107727952)
