Close to Paddington Station: tube and Heathrow Express.
Lots of steps to walk to get to room. No lifts.

Good location, walked across Hyde Park for concert at Royal Albert Hall, easy journey to Wembley Stadium, short walk to Central line and walking distance to Notting Hill. Good transport links to other areas via Paddington Station. Good breakfast and service
Stay was spoiled on this occasion by noisy water pipes during night, no lift and room was on 4th floor (not a problem for me but could be for others). Received e-mail from Active Hotels to say that would not accept debit card, then had to ring hotel with credit card details only to find on arrival that I could pay by debit card
Overall: Room was very small but ok for a short stay, TV was too high on wall and could not be comfortably watched. Pleasant and helpful staff at check in and breakfast. (108637345)

low price which included breakfast; good breakfast; close to Paddington station; suitable if one has very little luggage.
payment in advance upfront - so chance to change one mind and move hotels; although I was aware that there are no lifts the website should inform visitors that there are 4 floors and narrow staircase; shower/water piping very noisy - even when opened up from another room.
