On arrival at the breakfast room there were no unused tables, so I asked for 1 to be cleared and it as done by very pleasant staff straight away and our order was taken in no time.

no bad points, except badly cracked sink in bathoom

Very pleasant staff and a very comfortable bed. An excellent breakfast.

Lack of biscuits in room to go with tea/coffee. We had travelled over two hours and the bar and sandwich facilities were not open till 17.00 and it would have been nice to have had a biscuit with our refreshing cup of tea. The pictures on the walls looked 'tired'.

Overall: A comfortable hotel and ideal base for visiting Hatfield House and other close-by tourist sites.  (108994806)

Adequate for the purpose!

Shower did not work. Horrid smell in room ? cause ? fowl smelling cleaning stuff! Bedlinen put on inside out (minor detail, I know :-) ) Chicken wrapped in panchetta, was just chicken nothing wrapped around it!

Overall: Would stay ,if room did not have this nasty smell about it!  (108874271)

i liked the ladies parking but did not use as didnt see when i arrrived

The hotel has poorly trained staff with little motivation and no management. Fixtures and fittings that are very tired and worn. Poor room ventilation for higher temperatures. Very poor and possibly dangerous water supply in the bathrooms.
