Hotel was clean and comfortable. Only met one member of staff apart from the owner - a friendly and efficient waitress. The food was wonderful and the chef went out of his way to give me a dessert to meet a particular dietry requirement.

There was nowhere to sit after dinner because food was being served in the bar as well as the restaurant. I would have preferred to have my coffee or an after dinner drink somewhere where meals were not being eaten, where we could have relaxed for a while.

Overall: I would recommend this hotel to anybody. An oasis of warmth and comfort in a spectacular stretch of coastline.  (108549985)

Not much!

Price, cleanliness and lack of facilities.

Overall: THe accommodation was overpriced for the level of accommodation provided. The room we stayed in smelt of damp and could have been cleaner. The television was of such poor quality that we could only view one channel. After our evening meal we decided to have a night cap which included ice only to be told we had a run on ice today and have none left!  (3304988043)

The proprietor and his wife made us feel as though they were delighted to see us. They gave lots of helpful hints about the area (which was new to us)and were equally interested in our views.

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire.
