Quiet, relaxing. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good value. Fine of its type.
No bar facilities. Parking on busy road (yellow lines) before directions to hotel car park.
Overall: As it happens, this suited me. However, it now has more of a guest house feel (permanently locked front door, cluttered ex-bar, only 30 mins for breakfast) which might be an unwelcome surprise for some guests. (1291554)

Breakfast and other services (DVDs and Microwave and plates and drinks fridge)made the stay very comfortable. Will and Alex made the stay pleasurable. They are easy going and do anything to make your stay comfortable.
Two levels of stairs to carry luggage up. No sea view from room although advertised that all rooms have sea views. Car park a little dodgy down the back laneway.
Overall: Good location. Lovely owners. Would stay again when in Newquay. (108787341)

nice informal atmosphere, friendly owner, and great entertainment and kitted out rooms. Good idea having free drinks and food.
offer of free food and drinks was great, but the orange juice machine had flies inside the tap, which came out when the drink was poured. Overall cleanliness of area then became suspect, as some butter packs were also beyond their use by date. No bread was available, despite the offer of free toast
