Handy location - easily found as it is located on the main road into Thurso, also near to Tesco.
Abrupt and abrasive manner of receptionist when checking in.
I was also under the impression that free WiFi was available throughout the hotel; this was one of the main reasons I booked to stay here. Upon checking in and getting to my room, I discovered that the WiFi signal did not cover the whole area of the hotel. I required an internet connection for work purposes that evening, and was forced to sit in the bar to get a signal. This was totally inappropriate for trying to work, as I could not concentrate when surrounded by a bar full of people eating and drinking. The hotel should state on the website that WiFi is not available in all rooms, and allow the option of requesting a room that is covered.
Overall: The location and food at the hotel were adequate, but I would not recommend staying here if you are travelling on business and require access to the internet to work. (108185969)

Good location and quite. Good staff
No wireless as posted, no cooked breakfast until 8am but left out continental at 7am
