Central location

Bathrooms require upgrading, interior decoration requires revamping A lobby/reception/relaxation area would be appreciated

Overall: I booked this hotel on line on the recommendation of the Frommer Guide review - please publish date of review. I thought I had booked a reasonably good hotel discounted due to the early booking at £49, however the sign on the pavement advertised rooms for £37 The rooms are quiet small and are in need of revamping. However, the staff are extremely helpful and efficient.  (1813476)

I am allergic to blankets but no alternative offered, so was cold

Overall: Would have liked to know that on a busy street right outside a traffic light  (1785509)

I think the hotel need to be checked by health executives to see whether it is fit for human stay.Very old rooms which need extensive repair. No heating and the radiator was not working. The shower if you look at the shower head, you don't feel like taking a shower.TV old one and no remote control. Morning breakfast, no one to attend regularly.

Overall: Very bad experience. I have stayed in hotels/ bed and breakfast so many times in London. But this is the worst for money  (108477220)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
