The staff were excelent - a nice welcome despite the fact that I arrived very late; the night receptionist and breakfast waittress were very nice and GENUINE, it was not the sort of an artificial smile and nice words when in what they in fact think is: "I don't really care".
Also, I got cooked breakfast in the proce of the room, which was nice.
room was very smalol and basic, but then again - I was aware of what I was booking, so cannot complain there.
Overall: good, and again - really good service, I felt truly welcome! (108665868)

The room was clean and better than I was expecting for the price.I thought the breakfast was fine and we could have as much tea/coffee as we liked. I also liked the offer of leaving our bag for the day even though we had checked out.
The mattress was too short. Even though I am only 5ft 9ins, my feet were well over the end.
Overall: It was Ok for one night, but I would not want to stay in it for a week or more (108742880)

Extremely friendly, helpful. Very welcoming. Bathroom and WC (shared facilities) very clean. Possibility of leaving luggage there during the day and they charge only 1 pound per room. When we picked up the cases the staff offered us the use of bathroom facilities. Room very clean. Beds very comfortable.
Room rather cramped. 1 (worn) chair only. TV volume buttons missing and TV reception bad.
Overall: The friendliness outweighs any bad points, and the standard was higher than I would have expected for this price. (108455717)

Personnel is trying their best.
Horrible room: In the basement, low seeling, tiny room with no space to even open the luggage. Early in the morning it turned out that our windows face the kitchen and we were woken up at 6:30 by loud voices and bangs of pots and pans.
Overall: Stay away from this one. There are other hotels in the area for the same price with decent rooms. We moved to Edward House hotel. (107569335)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire.
