Room looked ok, bathroom was not too bad.

BEDBUGS! loads of them. Made the overall visit really bad.

Overall: Hotel looked ok at first, but the bedbugs took away the pleasure and it didnt want me to recomend the hotel to anyone else.  (107656145)

When we arrived we found you had cancelled the booking with the hotel because of a VISA card problem. I was not informed of any of this. As luck would have it they did have a room. The card was accepted by them. Is this your usual practice?

Overall: What was expected. Great location for transport and Earls Court.  (107193784)

Cheap (for over-priced London). Under 100 pounds for a triple room.

Room barely habitable.

Overall: Only go here if you're looking for somewhere cheap in London and won't be surprised by the shabbiness that comes with low-price. A prolonged stay in the room we had would probably be a health hazard - there was a strong mould smell. The loo seat was not attached properly, the sink tap was hanging off loose, and the kettle was unusable, being encrusted with grease. Somebody had evidently cooked in it - a very long time ago. The fire alarm went off twice in the night. No information was given at the time, nor when checking out the next morning.  (97816870)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
