It was fairly cheep, but I've stayed in cheaper places that are better.

General cleanliness of the place needs improvement, lots of cobwebs that need dusting away. Walls are paper thin.

Overall: I got put in a basement room with very little natural light. The walls are very thin and so you can hear the road outside and guests in other rooms talking. The place needs cleaning. The plus point is that it's cheap.  (108384272)

Fairly convenient to transport. Clean. Nice breakfast staff.

Heavy traffic noise. No room to pick up the cat let yet alone swing it . Further from Kings x than anticipated.B/ fast rather meagre

You get what you pay for and the Swinton met or exceeded my expectations. It's location is the real bonus for me.

Just some simple, inexpensive fixes could elevate the stay so much more; like, fixing the shower rail and towel rack so that the latter doesn't hang from the wall and adjusting the shower faucet to ensure water doesn't spray all over the bathroom floor. See the warped bath fascia as evidence of this. Regards, Grant Doyle

it was all it needed to be for our requirements, the bed was comfortable and clean there was adequate linen, tea and coffee facility was plentiful
