It is located very near to King's Cross Station which makes travelling in London very easy. The boss and the staffs are very friendly and helpful.

The room is a bit small. Although heating panels available in the room, it can get quite cold in the night. Very basic facility. No lift and the small stairways may be difficult for carrying of heavy luggage. The walls quite thin and you can hear your neighbours and the activities in the street.

Overall: If you are only staying overnight and wouldn't mind very basic facility, the price that you are paying for this hotel accomodation is quite reasonable. Becos I stayed on Sat which is pretty difficult to get accomodations for a low price, I am quite happy to settle for this hotel.  (3304015622)

We were looking for a cheap Hotel in London and were really pleased with the McSonald Hotel. It was clean and in an excellent situation. The facilities were basic but clean and everything was there. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and they happily let us leave luggage there for the day

There was no milk with the tea naking facilities but i think if we had asked they would have got them for us

Overall: We got what we wanted for a short stay - the situation in a quiet square made it feel as if we were away from the bussle of the bigger city  (2928677)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
