Cosy , clean, friendly, good food , what more could want.

Friendly staff, good food in both restaurant & bar, comfortable seating areas, all spotlessly clean. On-site parking, local tourist information readily available.

the 'zip & link' type double bed would have worked better if the duvet had been larger. As it was, one of us ended up sleeping partly on the join in order to be covered by the bedding, which was not so comfortable.

Overall: An enjoyable short break for us with good food & accommodation. Bala is a good base for touring the surrounding area in any direction & we couldn't have had a nicer hotel there.  (108664749)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
