the overall stay was very good, made even better as they booked us in ahead of usual booking time so we could change to attend our wedding, due to telephone conversation few days before stay. Breakfast was great too.

Overall: although I did not book online I had to tick a box so as to allow questionnaire to be submitted!! Sorry.  (107755992)

Quality staff; food and ambience

When booking the stay we were not advised of the leisure facilities and therefore did not come equiped to take advantage of the pool etc

Restaurant food and service excellent.

Paying £185 for a small, very basic room with a view of a fire excape cannot be considered good value for money.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
