I was asked for payment up-front during check-in although I was staying for 2 nights. To me this suggests lack of trust.

The room was a suite and costs very much. There was no mini fridge, we could not take a shower although we told the staff at once they did not repair it. The same with our hair drier! The room/comfort was absolutly not worth half the money. - People always told me to stay in a best western hotel. We would never do so again! And we told an will tell everyone to do the same!
