night staff were rude and dismissive

Unfortunately there were no real good points
The room (145) was VERY shabby, a massive scorch mark in the centre of the carpet did not impress. The furniture/decor was all very tired looking and in addition we could not gain access to the building as our card fob thing did not work. In addition when we booked for our stay there was a lot of confusion as communication was poor between the reservation staff-our booking was "lost" and we nearly ended up paying £65 instead of £41.25-of which was still too much for this hotel. In addition the drinks were VERY expensive.
Overall: A very disappointing visit. As a regular visitor to hotels i can safely say that this is one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed in. I would not recommend to anyone, unless i disliked them! (108750070)
The staff where very helpful, Danielle on reception was very good at her job trying to sort the problem of we had with no hot water.
No hot water in the morning at 7 am until 8:45

Wedding attended at hotel, food was great.
Hotel room, wall paper peeling, pole holding shower curtain was rusty, room in basic need of overhaul. Advertised breakfast till 10.30, but at 10.40 was asked to clear dining room.
