Overall: Excellent hotel, very pleased we stayed here. The food was very good and a better choice and price than the other local pubs/hotels we looked at on the same street. Alan in the bistro was excellent at his job, friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Overall, excellent stay, one of the best hotels we have stayed in, would definitely stay again!  (108477647)

Large airy room with superb sea view. Pleasant and welcoming attitude of staff.

I booked the stay on the Internet but, when we arrived the hotel, it had no record of this. Fortunately it was not full so there was no problem, but, if it had been fully booked, there would of course have been one! Presumably there had been a failure of communication somewhere along the line and it would be as well for Best Western to look for pitfalls in its central booking system.

The whole experience was entirely enjoyable;our room (104) was superb and we enjoyed all our meals. The staff were polite, efficient and, above all, friendly

the hair-dryer in the room wasn't very efficient.

Overall: most enjoyable. The main purpose of our stay was to visit my mother, who is in a care home. This is a difficult situation,but staying at the Bulkely turned it into an enjoyable short break.  (107514990)

The staff were fantastic - every one person of staff we met was friendly and helpful, particularly Pam and Owen in the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was excellent and so good, we invited our daughter and son-in-law to join usfor dinner on the second night.

Theroom we had was a bit peculiar in that we had a king size bed and then another smaller room with a bed in it and an en-suite services for both - not really bad points. The only bad thing about our stay was the lighting (main) in the bedroom. It was very dim!!!!!

Overall: We loved our stay, especially overlooking the Menai Strait. The view was beautiful. We shall certainly come back, but perhaps with a different room.  (107183500)
