Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff

Overall: On the whole we had a very comfortable stay. Some larger teapots for breakfast service would save staff much time in having to provide refills to those guests needing more than 1 small cup of tea.  (108110805)

bathroom in need of some attention

Overall: very goob food very good location to near main road but still very quite over all very satisfied kettle in room not quite up to scratch  (108833891)

excellent breakfast freshly cooked and hot.

hairdryer in bathroom didn't work . tv took several minutes to warm up before picture appeared

Decent breakfast, staff nice enough at reception & breakfast.

Room smelt of mothballs, heard every footstep from room above & even woken by them. TV control didn't work properly, hand held shower in bath & water flow not very good, one side busy road, view from back is car park not countryside.

Overall: Would not go back or tell friends to stay. All needs some tlc though surrounding area is very pretty, this place doesn't match up to that. For £75 would expect a bit more even though not expensive compared to some in the area think worth paying extra elsewhere if more than overnight stay or want nice place for 1 night.  (108105433)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
