Staff were attentive and polite. The hotel was well placed and close to local ameneties.

Inconsitant care in the dining room,i.e on one occasion bread rolls were not offered. On another no one asked if we required a drink with our evening meal, bur overall the staff were attentive. There was a dirty glass next to the bed, it was still there when we left!!!!!!

Overall: We enjoyed our stay. Would suggest that leaflets promoting Lostwithal be left in the room.  (108351736)

We only booked two nights but stayed for three. We were very taken by the friendly staff. The food at breakfast was nicely cooked and obviously hadn't been sitting around for ages. Congratulatons for a hot cup of tea too. Very unusual in our experience. Clearly a well managed hotel that has staff that actually want to work there. If not, then they're very good at pretence! The only disturbing thing was the drone of the compressor (?) in room 30. Not really a problem though.
