Lovely location and food

I thought the room rate slightly overpriced, though this may reflect the general regional prices

Very hospitable, staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was very clean and the food was lovely.

Overall: We enjoyed our weekend, our family with a young toddler came to meet us there on the sunday and it was a great place to gather, there was a very relaxed atmosphere, sunday lunch was wonderful and later we sat in the garden.  (107957853)

Nice location

Hotel does not provide all that you would expect for the price. There is only one hairdryer and one ironing board for the entire ten rooms,you have to get the hairdryer from the main building when you need it,my wife needed it before eight AM, but the main build is locked until after this time, so she had to go to breakfast with wet hair. The hotel is also very regimented ( booking dinner table at breakfast time, and breakfast eight until nine only )

Overall: We have stayed at this hotel several times, but did not have the problems that we encountered this time. When I spoke to the hotel about the hairdryer problem I was told that they lost them all in the past,so are reluctant to provide them in the rooms again. Also some of the light bulbs needed replacing in the room.Having stated the above, overall ths hotel is still reasonable and I would still stay again if some things are rectified  (108258722)
