Spacious and warm, with comfortable bed and chairs

Standard of bathroom, lot of noise which appeared to come from the plumbing.

Overall: Refurbishments which were being carried out in the hotel of which we were not informed prior to our stay created a lot of noise whilst trying to read and relax. The room in my view lacked care and attention to detail. Menu lacked variation.  (1704484)

breakfast was good very quiet

rear bar not very pleasant front bar not open that is the nice one. Room very out dated TV didnt work properly. room was dusty

Overall: having stayed in the hotel earlier in the year in a very nice room I was very dissappointed in this room and would rather have paid the extra  (108869597)

Great hotel, staff, room and breakfast

Internet booking site accepted Amex for booking, confirmed booking by email, then advised later that hotel did not accept Amex, told me to contact hotel rather than sort it themselves and also threatened me with room cancellation if i did not act to correct their mistake. Recommend you build some intelligence into your web site and improve your customer service - especially since hotel advises that they've been asking you to fix this for over a year!
