Clean, quiet & good wifi access

The place is a building site and only one person was on duty. I was told that no breakfast would be available on Sunday morning in spite of having booked 2 nights B&B. After I insisted, the duty person agreed to provide breakfast on Sunday.

Overall: They should not have been advertising that rooms were available over the weekend while building is going on. Would consider staying here again but only when the building work is finished. The duty person actually produced a better breakfast on Sunday than the regular staff on Monday.  (107977405)

The positive attitude of the staff - despite a myriad a problems with the hotel!

Smelly room, noisy fuseboxes in room, heating didn't work, milk was off in the bedroom, shower didn't work.

clean room, the staff were very helpful.

lack of restuarant facilities at the weekend, although on this occaision there was food available. our room had a noisy electric box above one of the beds. the staff have been informed of this.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
