Great hotel, beautiful town and shops

We paid £17 and some change for a large red wine + double malt whiskey which surprised me.

excellent value for money, room rate was £180 per night for the executive suite I booked but it cost me £60 via Activehotels.com

The only bad point was it took ages to check out, plus the bathroom extractor fan was very noisy

Good standards generally. Gardens kept in good order. Walking distance to Quorn village which was very useful.

The breakfast was extremely expensive which I tried on my first stay. It was not the best breakfast. The bacon was cold and the black pudding was very hard. I felt this was not value for money. I did not have breakfast on my second visit.
