The staff at the hotel were excellent, they were friendly, polite and very attentive. The Breakfast is the best I've ever had, No faults at all.
Overall: We usually stay in a sister property of this hotel, but decided to return to the Regent as a "Treat". On reading other reviews I was beginning to worry as they advised that the rooms were inadaquate for a small child and that DVD players didn't work. However from checking in to checking out everything was excellent. Every member of staff who we encountered was friendly, polite and very helpful. There wasn't a DVD player in the room on arrival, but before we had chance to bring in our luggage from the car it was with us and working! Excellent service. (108931857)

Location is excellent, hotel is comfortable and welcoming.
Very poor Bar. No cover to outside rooms.
Overall: Very much enjoyed our overnight stay but had to use another hotel bar! (108834149)

The Regent exceeded our expectations in every way.The hotel is immaculate,the food of a very high standard and the staff attentive without being intrusive.
The location is stunning!!

having booked 2 nights on the net, I FOUND THAT A PROBLEM AT HOME MEANT i SHOULD HAVE BOOKED OUT AFTER 1 NIGHT BUT BECAUSE IT WAS AN INTERNET BOOKING I WOULD HAVE LOST MY MONEY FOR THE SECOND NIGHT £200.NOT GREAT.WON'T BOOK THIS WAY AGAIN

Clean. Very good food, pianist, friendly service, relaxing ambience.
Overheard somebody reprimanding waiter for not having asked if we would like extra items with cooked breakfast - reprimands should be given privately. The waiter may well have realised that we had already had breakfast on the previous 2 mornings and therefore were well aware of the extras.
