Hotel very clean & comfortable, breakfast excellent, staff friendly and helpful.
People moving about in room above us affected our sleep, also people returning to next door room late at night.
Overall: We were very pleased with the location & quality of the hotel. Would definitely recommend it to anyone as a comfortable base for touring the Lake District.

good breakfast nice dining room. position good.
do not like the bedrooms which are in their grounds smelt damp. do not like having to go outside to the dining room etc.
Overall: overpriced and poor rooms in garden much prefer to stay in a proper hotel.
