Historic building in wonderful setting and excellent service received from all staff. Large garden to sit in if the weather permits and good after dinner walking along the riverside paths. Food in restaurant extremely good although fairly expensive. Pub grub and even more expensive food both available within yards at other venues. Our room was one of the smallest but the bed was huge and all was quite comfortable. Breakfast was extremely good - the scrambled eggs were to die for! Hotel situation excellent to wander into Ross - 15 mins along the riverside path.
Only minor defects - some decor a little tired but all was clean. Bathroom could do with a better shower and a bit of a facelift especially since the hotel is 3* and not that cheap. Restaurant food very good but it would be nice to have alternative snackier wholesome food as an alternative in the bar perhaps? Expensive rich food lovely for one or two nights but not more.
Overall: A very quiet and pleasant weekend break in picturesque surroundings with attentive service.

Good food.
Friendly staff.
Poor plumbing - hardly any shower water presssure.
Overall: Wilton Court is a pleasant place with very good food and good staff service. It is let down by its physical facilities in some respects and could do with some modernization - especially the plumbing.

Friendly check in. Excellent food both at dinner & breakfast.
great view from garden room
On a very hot evening I could not leave the windows of the garden room open as there were so many spiders on webs outside the window. These spiders were coming into the room and were everywhere. There were hundreds of them. The room also had webs inside. This should have been noticed and cleared away as part of the cleaning process.
Overall: I would like to have known if room service was offered before booking.
