The staff are lovely; very friendly and helpful. Food was good, room comfortable and very clean.

Good level of service and pleasant (smiling) staff, comfy bed and pillows, quiet, spacious room. Good menus and standard of food.

No Sky TV in rooms.

Overall: Have stayed here regularly for a few years and recommend it. Most of the guests here are on business so it's quiet at night and the staff are always happy to help.  (108722522)

Due to forgetting I had an extra days stay and ended up with a split booking, the hotel automatically converted it to a single booking, ensuring I was in the same room and didn't need to check out.

None really, breakfast is a little on the expensive side but there is always a reasonable selection of continental items.

Overall: Excellent hotel I have stayed in several times before. As always I received brilliant service and will be staying with you again this year.  (107501036)

Very clean with friendly helpful staff.

The restaurant food was disappointing. I feel that you have tried to go too 'up market' but the quality wasnt there. I was also aware of others who were underwhelmed.

Although not invalided, we were actually allocated a disabled ground floor room, which was very comfortable and spacious.

Nothing other than the remote location of the hotel meant our taxi came from Reading and the 15 minute ride to our venue was overly expensive. Also the return taxi was 45 minutes late!

Overall: We were very pleasantly surprised. Good value for money. The hotel was clean, staff efficient, and our room (offering only soap and towels, and tea/cof making facilities) was comfortable and not noisey although on the A5.  (97161443)
