The hotel is nice old building in a lovely setting/grounds and in great location for the town.
No warm welcom at recetpion on arrival, and on checkout tried to over charge the room although we had an agreed room rate - again this wasn't handled by the receptionist in a very nice manner.

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
