Location of hotel, staff knowledge of area and all polite and helpful

Room small - but back of hotel so quiet. Hairdryer not sufficient TV reception very poor

Online checkin was good, location was good, wireless internet worked well

Thought the room was a bit faded, couches dirty, could have used a new coat of paint. Also, asked for twin beds at checkin, got a queen, for 2 men, wanted separate, small issue but took some time. Breakfast sausage and ham was great, nice local taste, but eggs, juice, and fruit were not so good, didnt like the tiny (and dirty) glasses)

Overall: I chose the hotel on the internet based on the written description by your hotel, it sounded like a nice old hotel renovated to be modern, but I dont know if this statement is really true. I stay in hotels 3-6 months per year, I think your hotel has a lot of potential, good location, nice lobby, good amenities, but I think the general appearance/cleanliness and staff professionality could be easily improved and would add a lot more to your hotel. (And by the way, I am American, not British, so I dont winge about every hotel stay and every detail like alot of the Brits do :-) I hope my feedback helps, I see even more potential with your hotel  (108295384)

Lovely view over sea, clean hotel, helpful staff

we asked on booking for glutenm and dairy free - on arrival we were told that the hotel could not contact us to advise that this might not be possible!! In reality after a couple of days we were very weel satisfied with the service provision but the first two days were not a good start. The hotel balmed the booking service for an inability to communicate with future guests. This is not clear on the web site

Overall: very good autumn break, good timing with weather and facilities on the island.  (108206066)

Conveniently situated.

Poor evening food. Horrible room at the rear of the hotel. Shower curtain smells.

Overall: Poor. Prefer rooms nearer the front of the hotel and would not recommend the restaurant down stairs. the food tastes like it has been reheated!  (108287316)
