An excellent hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient. The room was of a good size with excellent facilities and spotlessly clean (I rarely leave a tip for the maid but did on this occassion). The building itself also has great character - so much more attractive inside and out than the identikit modern-style hotels. Oh, and the breakfast is superb!

Nothing of note. The only improvement I would suggest is allowing guests to use their door pass to open the rear door of the hotel.

Overall: Pretty much covered by the summary of good points. Suffice to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Duke Of Cornwall.  (108389181)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
