I thought the Motel was very good value for money and was pleased with the standard of cleanliness and facilities.

Kitchenette. Parking. Walking distance to Tesco.

Room was a bit tired. No dishes for microwave. No matches to light burners for cooking.

Nicely equipped room and kitchen, perfect for my needs. Great free wifi reception! Right next to a 24hr Tesco (and ASDA slightly further away) so perfect for a self catering room!

Room right on junction so fairly noisy outside.

Excellent staff - it's as simple as that. When all hotels are offering the same material assets, it's the people who make a difference.

Parking next to our room was not possible - a point that would have been useful to know in advance.

Overall: On the whole, good. We were aware that the accomodation was not going to be 'luxurious' but we were neither expecting luxury nor needing it. So the value for money was important, especially as we were spending most of each day out of our room.  (107728781)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
