Good room - sea view. Bar and sufficient car parking.

Staff disintrested - ignore customers

The staff were curtious and friendly, the food was excellent.

Even though the beds were clean, there were marks on the bed pillows and sheets (looked like blood), the drinks tray was not clean, as it had tea stains, not enough cups and drinks allocated to the room inc no biscuits and the shelf in the bathroom above the sink had not been cleaned (glass waters marks). The dessert we had was described as a chocolate brownie triple, but was a trifle with walnuts (which the menu should mention this), which our son is allergic and was sick after eating some of this dessert base. For security the top casement window on the right would not shut, so the room was permenantly open, these windows opened out to a flat roof. Air conditioning wouldn't work and the vanity light over the sink didn't work. (Room 14)

Overall: We enjoyed our stay, the outlook is fantastic, it was such a pity that the items in the second paragraph marred our experience.  (108407266)

View/location. Equipment in room,includes air con. Parking easy. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Very convenient for Whitstable

There had been a leak in the bathroom the decorations had been left with paper hagging off on the ceilings and needed attention.

Overall: Great. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for a overnight/short break stay,  (107985416)

Hotel is fantastic position overlooking the slopes and beach

staff didnt seem to care and any requests seem to be a bother. Breakfast - we were put as a group but no fresh cutlery, crockery or coffee/tea etc was offered we even had to wait for someone to finish as not enough seats were available. basically if it wasnt for the fact it was a family wedding we were attending we would not have chosen to stay there. perhaps holding two weddings on the same weekend was too much for the few staff to deal with. When we went to pay the wrong bills were presented to us. Even when the right room details were found they tried to charge for two nights instead of one.

Overall: Will not return to the hotel unless a complete change of management is put in - a real shame as the potential is amazing but the decor is old fashioned and the majority of the staff unhelpful or even rude.  (107894652)

TV never worked for the whole time I was there, having reported it twice. Fixture and fittings, decor etc looking dated and old. In need of general modenisation.
