Overall: enjoyed our stay but was spoilt when were put off eating in by the customer who was rightly complaining as we were booked in and lack of availability of fully trained staff. (108563118)  4.7 / 5

Overall: Happy with our experience overall, bedroom comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering main road out front. Bathroom needed updating and hate carpets in bathrooms. Would use again. (107494359)  3.0 / 5

Lovley Inn with plenty of character very clean good rooms as described.Quiet location Inn was not noisey at end of eve given our room was over the enterance. 
On arrival 2.0pm I was greeted by bar staff did not know how to book in, or deal with a customer complaining about her meal,in the end i believe it was the cook who eventually completed booking task.The complaining customer had to come back at a later time to see the manager as no one was able to deal with her. I witnessed the meal in question9which was photographed for evidence)It was badley cooked and poorley presented,the chips were burnt biscuit like crisp and looked if they had been reheated which put us off eating in given the food is not cheap.I feel if the Inn was left in the hands of junior staff to run for the afternoon who cearly did not have the skills or training necessary for a Hotel of this standing.
