Well placed and not too expensive.

Check-in was a bit difficult as they couldn't find a trace of my reservation.

Overall: Not too bad but comfort could be improved.  (108869450)

Overall: was given a small dirty dark room, which on complaining was changed for a better one,but it was still dark (window very small)& bathroom small with outdated plumbing  (107664176)

Pleasant room. Pleasant staff. Good parking. Good bar/lounge to relax in.

We were very close to a disco on both Friday and Saturday nights, and although these did stop around midnight, there was a lot of noise under our window into the early hours - clearing up, or loading vehicles with equipment. Also there were only 3 coffee sachets, and 3 milk sachets per night between us. The milk sachets held very little milk, so the coffee was virtually black - please go back to the little cartons!!

Overall: We would stay again - but perhaps request a room in a different part of the hotel, away from the noise.  (108489818)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
