Location; friendly staff who seemed hard working

Hotel not really clean and looked in need of care and attention e.g stains on bedroom cutain and hooks missing so they did not close properly. A previous guest had thoughtfully provided a pin to secure them.Seemed short of staff at times(although they were friendly). Reception did not offer to book meal when we asked but left it to us. For our evening meal we were not offered a loch-side table even though several were avilable and another couple were then seated in front of us thus ruining what view we had.
