Had breakfast first morning and could not go back again due to poor standard of food/cleanliness. Bed not made. Room facilities poor.

Overall: very disappointed in my opinion cost per night of stay should be around £20.  (107940050)

The breakfasts were very good with good service.The staff were friendly and helpful

The room was very cramped and the so - called exclusive bathroom seemed to be available to other guests.Plumbing noises could be heard along with other noises from guests in nearby rooms

Overall: We were disappointed with the room especially as our friends were staying at a better hotel nearer the city centre for a similar price.  (107390030)

Room was clean, warm and the beds were comfortable and the choice of breakfast was good. The landlord was very helpful.

Room was very cramped, en-suite very small, shower did not work properly. towels had to be changed because they were stained. Decor did not live up to the description of "beautifully decorated". Garish.

Overall: Enjoyed my visit to York. It is a very interesting and pleasant City. I found the people very friendly and helpful.  (107835593)
