Very clean nice room. Secure parking. Plesant atmosphere. Nice check in lady. It was nice that you had fresh milk on tap at the tea/coffee section rather than the mini milk cartons. We missed breakfast , but the receptionsit was hospitable and offered us biscuits and tea. The check in lady was lovely and told us where local amenties were. She is a credit to your hotel.

A few cobwebs on stairs lamps but apart from that very clean and nice. We rang down for a spare toothbrush and razor. We got a toothbrush but not a razor. We did not like being disturbed by house keeping if we have paid up until 11am.

Overall: I think breakfast should be on until 10-11am. Housekeeping knocked on our door three times to clean the room, but we were booked until 11am at the room. I don't think a guest should be disturbed if they have paid for a room up until 11am. The check in lady was very nice when we checked in. She could not sell us a room directly we had to go online . This is not her fault as she explained there is an online quota and a desk quota. She had exceeded her desk quota. Had we not had access to the internet we would have had to go to another hotel. Fortunately we could get online via our blackberry.  (108502691)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
