Wrong website description. Booked a double ensuite room: got a twin room with no bathroom/toilets and no door-lock. no heater. Put my bank details to book the room on the website but got to the hotel and was asked to pay by cash (as no card machine)and was verbally 'guarantee'that the money won't be taken out of my bank account.

Overall: Awful experience. Rip off.  (108410295)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
