When i checked in was just given a key and pointed in the general direction of the room. The room smelt very damp and musty. I went back to ask about another room and was sent to one that had faint food smells and windows into a lit corridor. I chose the musty smelling room in preference!!! Bathroom was carpeted - this may have had something to do with the smell. The duvet cover although clean had a rip in it. The TV had about 20 channels programmed in and about 4 were watchable.

Lovely country public house with superb food. Easy access to the A34.

Overall: Landlord and Landlady extremely helpful and friendly. In fact all the staff at the Hotel were welcoming. Breakfast cooked to order and 1st class.  (108978603)
