Superb hospitality and fantastic home cooking. Easy access to Culgaith from the A66.

Overall: From the moment you arrive at Laurel House you have a wonderful stay. Nothing is too much trouble, the food is fantastic and the beds are very comfortable. Will recommend Laurel House to all my friends and colleagues.  (108343154)

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Beim Eintreffen wurden einem alle wichtigen Informationen zur Umgebung direkt mitgeteilt (gute Restaurants, Pubs, usw.)

Overall: Familiäres Ambiente, das authentisch war. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war sehr gut. Das Frühstück war üppig und sehr lecker. Da am Lake District sehr viel los ist, war es sehr angenehm eine ruhige Unterkunft zu haben, die trotzdem gut erreichbar ist. Auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!  (108436241)

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
